GALACTIC FREESIA

Etsy - Facebook - InstagramWhen I think about space, and galaxies, and all the pretty stuff that exist far out of our reach, I can’t help but be filled with amazement and awe. Maybe it can be scary for someone, but I can’t help but think of the vastity of the universe as something beautiful in its incomprehensible mysteriousness.
Incidentally, the freesia is also of the most mysterious flowers out there, as we do not know its most antique origins. It does, however, also symbolize trust, and friendship: it is said that its name comes from a dear friend of the botanist that actually named it. Its sweet, embracing smell, reminiscent of the warm season, also gives off a feeling of tender nostalgia.
I just really liked these two concept together. A freesia, a mysterious but benevolent flower, being somewhat ‘galactic’, as galaxies and space are, as well, mysterious and fascinating.
... hopefully, my works will be fascinating for you as well!

For couple drawings, that would be +5€ for the chest up; +10 for the half body and +15 for the full body. All prices on the list are in €.
